JUNE – 2005
Valencia secured their first wind turbine within factory walls, possessing 15kW of generating power.
AUGUST – 2008
Conducted a 50kW solar power installation wich amounted to renewable energy to account for 15% of the total electricity consumption.
MARCH – 2010
All wood now sourced from ethically sustainable forests.
JANUARY – 2012
Renewable energy reaches 50% of total energy consumption with the combination of 150kW wind and solar power.
MAY – 2014
Installation of storage tanks that hold water and nitrogen designed to run on solar energy for sustainable use.
SEPTEMBER – 2015
670kWh lithium ion battery storage system is installed to increase renewable power efficiency and also storage for energy during peak production.
SEPTEMBER – 2018
An additional 15-kW of wind and solar power is installed to bring a total of 365kW of renewable energy, covering 80% of the daily electricity consumption.
JANUARY – 2020
Received a Carbon Neutral Factory certification by the Sustainable Furniture Consortium.
